Gymnastics

The national artistic gymnastics squad brings together a number of French gymnasts preparing for major international competitions in Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) and Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), which have both been part of INSEP since it was set up in 1975. In September 2009, INSEP also integrated Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) into the squad, which is split into two groups – national all-round and individual gymnast.

Marine BOYER

Since she finished fourth at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016 at the age of just 16, Marine Boyer has grown up considerably. With an exceptional talent on the beam, an event in which she has already carved out a glittering individual career on the European stage (2nd in 2016 and 3rd in 2018), the Reunion-born gymnast is also a key member of France’s women’s team, which finished fifth in the team final at the World Gymnastics Championships in 2018.

Coline DEVILLARD

European Champion in 2017 and European silver medallist in 2019 on vault and part of the French team that won silver at the 2018 European Championship, Coline Devillard (aged 18) is a key element in France’s revitalised young national gymnastics squad.

Cyril TOMMASONE

Cyril Tommasone (aged 32) is an all-round gymnast who in his career has concentrated mainly on his strongest apparatus, the pommel horse, winning two medals at the world championships (silver in 2011 and bronze in 2014) and fourth place at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. He signed an employment contract exclusively reserved for elite athletes with INSEP in 2019.
