The national artistic gymnastics squad brings together a number of French gymnasts preparing for major international competitions in Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) and Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), which have both been part of INSEP since it was set up in 1975. In September 2009, INSEP also integrated Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) into the squad, which is split into two groups – national all-round and individual gymnast.
