INSEP and VISA formalise their partnership

On Tuesday 24 January 2023, during its traditional "Soirée des Champions", INSEP announced the signing of a new official partnership, and not the least, with VISA, the world leader in digital payments and already a global partner of the Olympic and Paralympic movements. This new partnership programme has been negotiated for a period of two years and looks promising for the establishment in view of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

What a great opportunity for Fabien Canu, Director General of INSEP, to take advantage of the organisation of the Champions Evening after a 3-year absence to announce this new collaboration with VISA:

It is a great pride to welcome VISA as an official partner of INSEP. We need support to improve our support for top-level athletes. We share with VISA the Olympic and Paralympic values of respect, excellence and education. The financial management training programme that we are going to put in place will allow our athletes to be more serene in managing their careers.

Our new partner made a remarkable entry by sponsoring the "Champion of the Year" award, a first in the history of the ceremony. The judo world champion and great hope for Paris 2024 Romane Dicko won the votes of the public and the digital community. She beat eight other INSEP world champions to receive the award from Romain Boisson, General Manager of Visa France.
