Cooperation agreement between the Paris 2024 OCOG and INSEP

On Thursday, October 27th, the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the French National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP) signed a cooperation agreement that continues the collaboration they began during the bidding phase.

This agreement will result in the management of joint projects to develop the experience of athletes, performance and the practice of sport in France. These include :

  • the mobilization of medical experts, provision of material resources, mutual development of research in nutrition, sleep or the zero-waste strategy
  • the promotion, information and training on the challenges of organizing the Games, particularly through the broadcasting of the documentary "CHAMPION(S)" in schools during the Olympic and Paralympic Week, and mutual support in the training and recruitment process for Paris 2024 employees and volunteers
  • the development and promotion of respective projects with joint participation in events such as the media awareness days on Paralympic sports co-organized with the CPSF or the "Sports Talents" Forum
